    Walking

    From Sapporo Station, follow signs for JR Tower and Stellar Place. The observatory entrance is located on the 6th floor of Stellar Place East. Take the Center II or East Elevator to reach the 6th floor. Purchase your ticket at the information counter or vending machine. From there, dedicated elevators will whisk you to the 38th-floor observatory in approximately 55 seconds.

    Public Transport

    JR Tower is directly connected to Sapporo Station, making it easily accessible via JR rail lines, limited express services, and the Rapid Airport Service from New Chitose Airport. Sapporo Subway Station is also connected via the underground network. From the station, follow signs within Sapporo Station for JR Tower and Stellar Place, then proceed to the 6th floor via the Center II or East Elevator. Single subway fares within central Sapporo typically cost between ¥200-¥300.

    Taxis are readily available at Sapporo Station's north and south exits. Ask the driver to take you to the JR Tower entrance. The entrance to the Observatory is located on the 6th floor of the Stellar Place department store. Standard taxi fares in Sapporo start at ¥670 for the first 1,463 meters, with additional charges of ¥80 for every 276 meters thereafter. A short taxi ride from Sapporo Station to JR Tower should cost approximately ¥950-¥1200.

Opened in March 2003, this popular observation deck sits atop the JR Tower, a commercial complex directly connected to JR Sapporo Station.
