Moerenuma Park: A Landscape Sculpture by Isamu Noguchi

Moerenuma Park, located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, is a testament to the vision of Japanese-American sculptor Isamu Noguchi, who conceived the park as a single, unified sculpture. Spanning approximately 189 hectares, this expansive park was ingeniously built on a former waste treatment plant, transforming it into a landscape that seamlessly blends art and nature.
