Getting There

    Start your journey at Sapporo Station, the central hub of the city's subway system. Take the Tozai Line (Orange Line) towards Shin Sapporo. Stay on the train for about 20 minutes and get off at the 'Atsubetsu-kita Station'. Once you exit the station, head northwest for about 1 kilometer. You should see signposts directing you to the Sapporo Science Center.

  • Bus

    From Sapporo Station, head to the bus terminal located just outside the station. Look for the bus number 89 or 90 heading towards 'Atsubetsu'. The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sapporo Science Center' bus stop, which is right in front of the center.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Sapporo. Just tell the driver 'Sapporo Science Center' or provide the address: '5 Chome-2-20 Atsubetsuchuo 1 Jo, Atsubetsu Ward'. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.

  • Walking

    If you are staying in the Atsubetsu area, you can walk to the Sapporo Science Center. From Atsubetsu Station, head southeast on Route 274 for about 800 meters. Turn left onto Chuo 1 Jo and walk straight for approximately 500 meters. The center will be on your right.
