Getting There

  • Subway

    Start your journey at Sapporo Station. Take the Sapporo Subway Namboku Line (green line) towards Makomanai. After 5 stops, get off at Fushimi Station. From Fushimi Station, take Exit 2. Once you are out of the station, head towards the right and walk straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the entrance of Maruyama Park.

    Enter Maruyama Park and follow the main path. You will see a sign indicating the direction to the Sapporo Peace Pagoda. Continue walking uphill for approximately 15-20 minutes. The path is well-marked, and you will enjoy beautiful scenery along the way. Once you reach the top, the Sapporo Peace Pagoda will be on your left.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, from Sapporo Station, you can take the bus number 2 (bound for Fushimi and Maruyama Park). Get off at the 'Fushimi' bus stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of Maruyama Park and follow the same walking directions provided above to reach the Sapporo Peace Pagoda.
