Getting There

Subway
Start your journey at Sapporo Station, which is the main hub of the subway system. Take the Namboku Line (green line) heading towards Makomanai. After approximately 5 stops, get off at Nakajima Koen Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you exit the station, head towards Exit 1. After exiting, you will face Nakajima Park. Walk straight ahead towards the park entrance.

Once you are at Nakajima Park, walk straight for about 400 meters until you reach the park's center. Look for the signs pointing towards the Sapporo City Observatory. The observatory is located at 1-17 Nakajimakoen, Chuo Ward, which is a short 10-minute walk from the center of the park. As you walk, enjoy the beautiful scenery of the park, particularly the pond and the cherry blossoms if you visit in spring.

Alternatively, from Nakajima Koen Station, you can take the Chuo Bus (Number 11 or 12) which runs frequently. Get off at the Nakajima Koen bus stop, and from there, it is a 3-minute walk to the Sapporo City Observatory. Just follow the signs or ask locals for directions.
