Kyoto: Serene Garden Philosophy at Murin-an with Matcha Tea
A gardeners experience
Masa was an excellent and informed guide who opened up insights into the history, design and amalgamation between Japanese and European methods and styling of this beautiful peaceful garden. There was a hint of autumn colours emerging in the maples, a week or 2 later I could see this would be another level of experience. If you love gardening, architecture and history this is a great experience. Thank you Masa.

Sweet Treats Kyoto Garden Villa Tour
Book it!
This was such an amazing tour. Not only did we get to eat delicious Japanese sweets, we ate them sat on tatami mats, gazing at serene gardens---definitely not the typical cafe stop. I had no idea that Japanese gardens were little worlds inside themselves. The guide, Aya was incredibly kind and explained things in great detail. I would highly recommend this experience.
