Walking
From Kintetsu Nara Station, walk east along the main street towards Nara Park. Pass Kofuku-ji Temple and continue into the park. Follow the signs to Ukimido Pavilion, located in the northern part of the park on Sagiike Pond. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.
Public Transport
From JR Nara Station, take the Nara City Loop Bus (number 2) from bus stop 2 at the East Exit. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and get off at the Daibutsuden Kasugataisha-mae bus stop. From there, walk north for about 5 minutes to reach Ukimido Pavilion. The bus fare is ¥210 for adults and ¥110 for children.
Taxi
From JR Nara Station, take a taxi from the taxi rank outside the East exit. The taxi fare to Nara Park will be around ¥730 and take around 8 minutes. Ask the driver to take you to Ukimido Pavilion in Nara Park.
