Actland (創造広場アクトランド, Sōzō Hiroba Akutorando) is a multifaceted theme park located in Konan City, Kochi Prefecture, Japan. The park's name, ACT, represents its core themes: Art, Culture, and Technology. Actland aims to foster creativity and enrich the community by blending artistic appreciation, cultural understanding, and technological advancement.The park features eight unique museums, each offering a distinct experience. The Ryoma History Museum showcases the life of Sakamoto Ryoma, a prominent figure in Japanese history, through lifelike wax figures. The World Great Person Hall presents wax figure recreations of significant figures and historical moments from around the globe. Art enthusiasts can explore the Ekin派 Art Gallery, which displays the works of Ekin, a renowned Tosa-area artist from the late Edo period. Car enthusiasts will enjoy the World Classic Car Museum and the World Model Car Museum, which feature impressive collections of vintage automobiles and meticulously crafted model cars. Other museums include the Neo African Gallery, the Bonnette Bus Museum, and KUMA'S Container Gallery.In addition to the museums, Actland offers a free recreational area called 'Jiyū Kūkan' (自由空間), where visitors can enjoy unique, human-powered playground equipment, including a giant jungle gym and a miniature Ferris wheel.
