The Shimanto River, also called the '40010 River' in Japanese, meanders for 196 kilometers through western Kochi Prefecture, offering a haven for various outdoor activities. Besides the zipline, you can enjoy canoeing, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and boat rides. The area is also known for its unique submersible bridges (chinkabashi), designed without railings to withstand flooding.
