Continue straight for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the city. Once in Hiroshima, follow signs for Naka Ward, and use the local road system to navigate to Nakajimacho. To reach the Gates of Peace via public transportation, start by taking a bus or train from Shima to Toba Station. From Toba Station, take the Kintetsu limited express train to Hiroshima Station. This journey will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. Upon arriving at Hiroshima Station, transfer to the Hiroshima Electric Railway (Hiroden) tram line. Board the tram heading towards Eba and alight at the 'Hondori' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk to the Gates of Peace. Follow the signs towards Nakajimacho.
