Start from central Shima. Use Route 42 to head south towards Toba. After approximately 15 minutes, continue straight onto Route 259 towards Toba. Follow the signs for Toba. Once in Toba, head towards the Toba Ferry Terminal. You will need to park your car at the designated parking area near the terminal, which may incur a fee of around ¥500 for a day. From the ferry terminal, take a ferry to Kozukumi Island. The ferry ride takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately ¥1,000 for a round trip.
