Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Shimotsuke. Navigate to Route 4 and head north towards Utsunomiya. Continue on Route 4 for about 10 km until you reach the intersection with Route 123. Turn left onto Route 123 and drive for about 5 km. You will see signs for Heiwa Kannon; follow these signs for another 2 km until you reach the parking area at 1174 Oyamachi, Utsunomiya. Note that parking may incur a small fee, so keep some coins handy.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, start at Shimotsuke Station. Take the JR Utsunomiya Line to Utsunomiya Station. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Utsunomiya Station, transfer to the bus heading towards Oyamachi. Get off at the Oyamachi stop, which is about a 15-minute ride. From the bus stop, it's a 10-minute walk to Heiwa Kannon, following the signs that direct you to 1174 Oyamachi. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as buses may not run frequently.
