Bus
From the Shirakawa-go bus terminal, take the Nohi Bus towards Takayama. Get off at the Hirase bus stop after approximately 15 minutes. From the Hirase bus stop, walk south on Hirase Road for about 1 km (approximately 20 minutes) following the signs for Midorigaike Pond. The path is well-marked. Bus fare is around ¥650.
