Car
If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to Kawanehon Town in Shizuoka Prefecture. From Suruga, take Route 1 north towards Shizuoka city and then merge onto Route 362 towards Kawanehon. Follow Route 362 for about 30 km until you reach Inuma. Look for signs directing you to Okuōikojō Station, which is located in Inuma, Kawanehon, Haibara District. There is parking available near the station, but be aware that it may fill up quickly during peak tourist seasons.
Public Transportation
To reach Okuōikojō Station using public transportation, start at Shizuoka Station. Take the JR Tōkaidō Main Line to Kakegawa Station. At Kakegawa Station, transfer to the Ohito Line or the Ikawa Line, depending on the schedule, and head towards Kawanehon. Once you arrive at Kawanehon Station, you will need to take a local bus to Inuma. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes, and the fare is around 500 yen. After getting off at the bus stop for Okuōikojō Station, follow the signs to the station entrance, which is just a short walk away.
