If you're driving from Tajima to Meiji Jingu, take the Route 2 highway towards Tokyo. Once you approach the city, follow signs for Shibuya. Use a GPS device and input the address '1-1 Yoyogikamizonocho, Shibuya City, Tokyo 151-8557'. There is no direct parking at Meiji Jingu, but you can find paid parking nearby. Expect to pay around 500-1000 yen per hour depending on the location. Be mindful of the traffic conditions as they can be quite congested, especially during peak hours.
Public Transportation
To reach Meiji Jingu via public transportation, start at the nearest train station in Tajima. Take the JR train heading towards Tokyo, and change at Shinjuku Station to the JR Yamanote Line. Board the train towards Harajuku Station. Once you arrive at Harajuku Station, exit from the Omotesando Exit. Walk approximately 10 minutes following the signs toward Meiji Jingu. The entrance is located at the end of a tree-lined path. Make sure to check the train schedules ahead of time, and a one-way ticket from Tajima to Harajuku will typically cost around 1,500 yen.
