Getting There

  If you're driving from anywhere within Tango, head towards the nearest expressway entrance. The closest is the Kyoto-Jukan Expressway. Once on the expressway, follow signs for the Maizuru-Wakasa Expressway and then connect to the Chuo Expressway. Continue until you reach the Tokyo area. Upon entering Tokyo, follow the signs to Minato City. The Rainbow Bridge is well-signposted once you are in the vicinity. There may be toll fees on the expressways, so keep cash or a credit card handy. The estimated driving time is around 2-3 hours, depending on traffic.

  To reach Rainbow Bridge using public transport, start by taking a train from your nearest station in Tango to Kyoto Station. Once at Hamamatsucho Station, exit and follow the signs to the Rainbow Bridge. The entire journey could take around 3-4 hours, including transfer times.
