Our tour guide was Jeff Jeff was cool l, socialable and directed us easily around the area. Lunch was cool. I especially liked the shrine with the tori gate.

Yanaka Walking Tour: Historic and Traditional District of Tokyo
Great hidden gem hiding in plain view.
It was a very informative trip. I have lived in Kanto for over 10 years and I have never been to Nippori Yanaka area until today. Mana, our guide knew the location well, and had helpful paperwork visuals that added to the experience. I am training to be a guide myself, but there is no way I could ever surpass her tour ever.

I also participated in a photography tour using "Holiday Travel", and the experience there was so wonderful that I decided to participate in this tour as well. This tour was also really great, and we were able to fully enjoy the area while being introduced to the history, culture, and recommended local food. Please make tours of other areas as well. Then I will definitely participate!
