I had an outstanding experience at a Game Boy Advance modding workshop in Akihabara. From the moment I walked in, it was clear this wasn’t just a casual session—it was run by people who genuinely care about both craftsmanship and retro gaming culture. The instructors were extremely knowledgeable and hands-on, guiding every step of the process with patience and precision. Whether you’re a complete beginner or already familiar with electronics, they strike the perfect balance between teaching and letting you build confidence on your own. Every detail—from soldering techniques to screen upgrades and shell customization—was explained clearly and professionally. What really stood out was the quality of the components and tools provided. Nothing felt cheap or rushed. By the end, I had a fully modded Game Boy Advance that looked and felt better than new—IPS screen, improved battery life, and a clean, custom finish.

We had such a lovely time with Michelle touring Yanesen. The food was consistently delicious, and the family-run businesses were charming and fascinating. Michelle was a fount of information; we learned a lot and she skillfully managed our group with careful consideration. This is a great tour, and we would not hesitate to take another with her. We look forward to our upcoming tour in Osaka!

Amazing tour with Ramesh and Yuko ( I’m sure I misspelled your names, I truly apologize for that). It was our second time in Tokyo, so we decided to see some old districts. Both guides were very informative, attentive and created warm atmosphere while strolling through small nostalgic Tokyo streets…Our final destination was tiny confectionery shop run by very gifted lady Sachiko. We could say “ forget all you knew about traditional sweet bean sweets and try her delights”. She is experimenting with uncommon ingredients to create one of kind desserts and pair them with different types of sake. We really enjoy how she described the philosophy behind all pairings. Thank you again to all of you to help us to make magical discoveries in Tokyo this time
