Getting there

Train

If you are in central Tokyo, head to Tokyo Station and take the JR Tokaido Line towards Odawara. Get off at Yokohama Station (about 30 minutes). Once at Yokohama Station, transfer to the JR Negishi Line and take the train towards Negishi. Get off at Ishikawacho Station (about 10 minutes). Exit the station and head west on Yamatecho Street. After a short walk, you will arrive at Yamate Park.

Subway

From Shinjuku Station, take the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line towards Ogikubo. Change at Shinjuku-sanchome Station to the Tokyo Metro Fukutoshin Line towards Yokohama. Get off at Yokohama Station (approximately 45 minutes). From Yokohama Station, take the JR Negishi Line to Ishikawacho Station. Exit the station and walk west along Yamatecho Street until you reach Yamate Park.

Bus

From Tokyo Station, take the highway bus service to Yokohama Station (this takes about 30-40 minutes). Upon arrival at Yokohama Station, take the JR Negishi Line to Ishikawacho Station. Once you exit the station, walk west along Yamatecho Street until you reach Yamate Park.

Walking

If you’re already in the vicinity of Ishikawacho Station, exit the station and head west along Yamatecho Street. Yamate Park is a short 10-minute walk from the station, and you will see signs guiding you to the park.
