    From Tottori Station, take the city bus bound for the Tottori Sand Dunes. The ride takes about 20 minutes and costs ¥380. Get off at the Sakyu-kaikan or Sakyu-Higashiguchi bus stop. From there, walk towards the main dune area and follow the signs to Horse Back Dune, located in the southern part of the dunes. The walk takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

Ask the driver to take you to the Tottori Sand Dunes Visitor Center or the main entrance.
