Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from central Wakasa and take Route 8 towards Sabae. Continue on Route 8 for about 25 kilometers until you reach the Sakuramachi intersection in Sabae. Turn left onto Sakuramachi Street and follow the signs for Nishiyama Park. The park will be on your right at the address 3 Chome-8-10 Sakuramachi, Sabae, Fukui 916-0027. There is parking available near the park entrance, which is free of charge.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take a train or bus to Sabae Station. From Sabae Station, you can take a local bus (Sabae City Bus) towards Sakuramachi. Get off at the Sakuramachi stop, which is the nearest bus stop to Nishiyama Park. The park is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Head south on Sakuramachi Street, and you will see the park entrance ahead. Bus fares are typically around 210 yen for a one-way trip.

  If you are already in the vicinity of Sabae, Nishiyama Park is accessible on foot. From the Sabae Station, it takes approximately 30 minutes to walk to the park. Exit the station and head south on Route 8, then turn onto Sakuramachi Street. Follow the road until you reach Nishiyama Park at 3 Chome-8-10 Sakuramachi, Sabae, Fukui 916-0027.
