If you're traveling by car, begin your journey in Wakasa and head towards Route 27. Follow the signs for Fukui City. After approximately 30 minutes, merge onto Route 8 towards Fukui. Continue driving until you reach the exit for Ichijōdani Asakura Ruins, which is well marked. The entrance is located at 35.999463, 136.295932. Parking is available nearby, typically free of charge.

For those opting for public transportation, start from Wakasa Station and take the JR Hokuriku Main Line towards Fukui Station. The journey takes about 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Fukui Station, transfer to the Fukutetsu Bus Line. Board the bus bound for Ichijōdani (the bus stop is located at the station's east exit). The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Disembark at the Ichijōdani stop, which is a short walk from the ruins. Be sure to check the bus timetable in advance, as services may be limited, especially on weekends and holidays.
