Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving, start from the center of Wakasa city. Head east on Route 162 for approximately 12 kilometers. You will see signs for Wakasa Terrace along the way. Once you reach the Umiyama area, follow the signs and turn left onto the small road leading up to Wakasa Terrace. There is parking available on-site, but make sure to arrive early as it can fill up quickly during peak hours. Note that there may be a small parking fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Wakasa Terrace using public transportation, start by taking the Fukui Railway from Wakasa Station. You will need to transfer at the nearest major station, likely to the Mikatakaminaka area. From there, use local buses that head towards Umiyama. The bus ride should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Umiyama bus stop, it’s a short 10-minute walk to Wakasa Terrace. Be mindful of the bus schedules, as they may not run frequently, especially on weekends.

• Taxi

  If you prefer not to drive or deal with public transportation, consider taking a taxi. Taxis are widely available in Wakasa and can take you directly to Wakasa Terrace. The fare from central Wakasa should be around 2,500 to 3,500 yen, depending on traffic and the time of day. This is a convenient option if you're traveling with a group or have luggage.
