If you're driving, head towards Route 20 (Chuo Expressway) from your location in Yamanashi. Follow the signs for Makiokacho and take the exit towards Makiokacho Nishihoshimo. Continue on local roads, and you should find Sakuratoge at the address Makiokacho Nishihoshimo, Yamanashi, 404-0004. Parking is available near the site, but make sure to check for any parking fees which might apply.
Public Transportation
To reach Sakuratoge via public transportation, take the JR Chuo Line train to Kofu Station. From Kofu Station, transfer to the Yamanashi Chuo Bus and take the bus towards Makiokacho. Ensure to check the bus schedule as the frequency may vary. Get off at the nearest bus stop to Sakuratoge, which is Makiokacho Nishihoshimo. From the bus stop, it's a short walk to the site. Bus fares typically range around ¥500-¥600.
