Car
If you are driving to the Suntory Hakushu Distillery, start by entering the Chuo Expressway (中央自動車道) from your location in Yamanashi. Follow the expressway and exit at the Kobuchizawa IC (小淵沢IC). Once you exit, continue on Route 20 towards Hokuto City. After approximately 15 minutes, take a right onto Route 140. Follow the signs for Hakushu Distillery, which is located at 2913-1 Hakushucho Torihara, Hokuto, Yamanashi. Parking is available on-site, but there may be a small parking fee.

Train and Bus
To reach the Suntory Hakushu Distillery using public transportation, start by taking a train to Kobuchizawa Station (小淵沢駅) on the JR Chuo Line. From Kobuchizawa Station, you will need to take a bus. Look for the bus service that goes to Hakushu Distillery. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes. The bus stop for Hakushu Distillery is right outside the distillery entrance. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as service may be limited, especially on weekends.

If you prefer a more direct route and are located within Yamanashi, consider taking a taxi to Suntory Hakushu Distillery. Simply tell the taxi driver to take you to 2913-1 Hakushucho Torihara, Hokuto, Yamanashi. The taxi ride from nearby cities like Kofu or Kobuchizawa will vary in cost, but expect to pay around 3,000 to 5,000 yen depending on your starting point and traffic conditions.
