Getting There

  • Walking

    From JR Yufuin Station, walk straight ahead on Yufumi Street. Pass through the torii gate at the irregular five-way intersection and continue straight for 600 meters. Turn diagonally left before Hotel Shuhokan, and the antique brick building will be on your right in 300 meters. The walk is approximately 15 minutes.

  • Driving

    From Yufuin Interchange (湯布院I.C), proceed on Oita Prefectural Route 216 towards Beppu/Yufuin. Turn right at the Yufuin Iriguchi intersection and continue for 2.6 km. Turn right at the intersection entering the town, then turn left onto Yufumi Street. Proceed 47 meters and turn at the five-way intersection with a torii gate. Continue straight for 600 meters, then turn diagonally left before Hotel Shuhokan. The museum will be on your right in 300 meters. Parking is available 100 meters past the museum next to the Stained Glass Workshop. Parking is free.
