Walking
If you're staying in Zao Onsen, you can easily walk to the Zao Super Slider. Start at the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal. Head east on Zao Onsen Street (Zao Onsen Dori) for about 300 meters until you reach the intersection with the main road. Continue straight, and after approximately 500 meters, you will see the Zao Super Slider entrance on your left.
Car
If you are driving, start from the center of Zao Onsen. Take Route 13 towards Yamagata City. After about 2 km, take the exit for Zao Onsen. Follow the signs towards Zao Super Slider, which is located approximately 3 km from the Zao Onsen area. There is parking available at the location, but be aware that parking fees may apply.
Public Transportation
You can take a local bus from Zao Onsen to Zao Super Slider. Catch the bus at the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal heading to Zao Ski Resort. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. Once you arrive at the Zao Ski Resort stop, the Zao Super Slider is within a short walking distance. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance to plan your trip accordingly.
