Located in the parish of St. Brelade, this south-facing beach is framed by towering granite cliffs and lush greenery, creating a sense of enclosure and tranquility. The beach itself boasts soft, golden sand that gently slopes into crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and paddling. The bay is sheltered from strong winds, making it a sun trap where visitors can bask in the warmth and soak up the stunning coastal views. The turquoise water is calm, making it a popular spot for swimming and a favorite for local and visiting boat owners. Beauport's secluded nature means it remains relatively quiet, even during peak season. Access to the beach involves a descent down a steep path and a series of steps, which helps to keep the crowds away and preserve its unspoiled charm. While this may not be suitable for those with mobility issues, the reward for the descent is well worth the effort. Historically, the bay was once a bustling location for smugglers during the 18th century. Today, it's a haven for nature lovers, with opportunities for coastal walks and exploration.
