Walking
From Le Hocq Tower, exit the tower area and head southwest toward the coastal path. Follow the coastal path along the shoreline, keeping the ocean on your left. Continue walking for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Portelet Bay. At low tide, you can access Janvrin's Tomb directly from the beach. Look for the small tomb located on the rocky outcrop.
Car
If you are driving, exit Le Hocq Tower and head west on La Route de la Haule. Follow the road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit onto Rue de la Corbière, then turn left onto Portelet Lane. There is limited parking available near the beach area. Make sure to check local parking signs for any fees or restrictions.
Public Transportation
Take bus number 1 or 15 from St. Helier towards Gorey. Get off at the stop labeled 'Portelet Bay'. From the bus stop, head down Portelet Lane towards the beach. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop to Janvrin's Tomb, which you can access at low tide. Be sure to check the bus schedule for return times.
