Car
From St. Catherine's Breakwater, head southwest on the A12 towards St. Helier. Continue on the A12 until you reach the junction with the A1. Take the A1 exit towards St. Ouen. Follow the A1 for approximately 5 miles. Once you reach the Grande Route de St Ouen, look for signs for the Val de la Mare Arboretum. Turn left onto Reservoir Walk. The arboretum will be directly ahead, and there is parking available nearby.

From St. Catherine's Breakwater, walk to the nearest bus stop on the A12. Take bus number 15 towards St. Ouen. It will take approximately 20-25 minutes to reach the stop closest to Val de la Mare Arboretum. Get off at the 'St. Ouen's Church' stop. From there, walk along Grande Route de St Ouen for about 10 minutes until you reach Reservoir Walk. The arboretum will be accessible from this path.

If you prefer to walk, it's a scenic route. Starting from St. Catherine's Breakwater, head towards the coast and follow the coastal path west towards St. Ouen. This will take you on a longer journey of approximately 2.5 miles along the coast, eventually leading you to Grande Route de St Ouen. Once there, turn onto Reservoir Walk, where Val de la Mare Arboretum is located. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and check the weather, as this path can take longer depending on your pace.
