Bus
From St. Helier, head to the Liberation Station, which is the main bus terminal. Board the number 1 or number 2 bus towards Gorey. The journey takes approximately 25 minutes. Disembark at the Gorey Village stop, which is centrally located. From there, follow the signs towards Mont Orgueil Castle, which is about a 10-minute walk uphill. You will see the castle rising above you as you make your way up the pathway.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the central point in St. Helier, such as the Waterfront or the Liberation Square. Head east along the waterfront towards the Elizabeth Castle. Continue along the coastal path until you reach Gorey. Once in Gorey, navigate towards Castle Green, where Mont Orgueil Castle is located. This walk will take approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on your pace, but you will be rewarded with beautiful views of the coastline.
Taxi
For a quicker option, you can hire a taxi from any point in St. Helier. Simply ask the driver to take you to Mont Orgueil Castle in Gorey. The ride will take around 15 minutes, depending on traffic, and will drop you off directly at the entrance.
