Car
From Ajloun Highlands, head south on the main road towards Jerash. After about 20 km, merge onto the Desert Highway (Highway 65) towards Amman. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the outskirts of Amman. Take the exit towards Al-Madina Al-Munawwara St. and follow the signs for the city center. Once in the city center, navigate to K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein St. where Amman Citadel is located. Parking is available nearby, but be aware that some areas may require a fee.
Public Transportation
From Ajloun, locate a taxi or bus service that travels to Jerash. Once in Jerash, you can catch a bus or shared taxi heading to Amman. The journey may take about an hour. Upon arrival in Amman, head to the city center and ask for directions to K. Ali Ben Al-Hussein St. where the Citadel is located. Be prepared for a short walk to reach the entrance of the Citadel after getting off at a central drop-off point.
Taxi
For a more direct route, consider hiring a taxi from Ajloun to Amman Citadel. This option provides convenience, especially if you are traveling with luggage or prefer not to deal with public transport. The taxi ride will take roughly 1 hour and may cost around 30-40 JOD depending on the taxi service.
