Getting There

  • Car

    From Al Karak Plateau, head west on Route 55. This road will lead you directly towards the Dead Sea area. Continue driving for about 30 kilometers until you reach a junction. At the junction, take the left turn onto Route 65 towards the Dead Sea. Follow this road for approximately 10 kilometers. You will start to see signs for Amman Beach. As you near the beach, pay attention to the signs directing you to the Amman Beach entrance. There may be an entrance fee of around 20 JOD (Jordanian Dinars) for access to the beach facilities.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Amman Beach via public transportation, first make your way to the Al Karak bus station. From there, board a minibus heading to Madaba or the Dead Sea area. The fare is typically around 5 JOD. Inform the driver that you wish to get off at the Dead Sea. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours. Once you arrive at the Dead Sea area, you can either walk or take a taxi to Amman Beach, which is about 5 kilometers from the main road. Taxis may charge around 3-5 JOD for this short trip.
