Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Al-Maghtas and head south on the main road (King Abdullah II Road). Drive approximately 7 kilometers until you see signs for Qasr el Yahud. Turn onto the road leading to Qasr el Yahud. The site will be on your right after a short drive. There is a parking area available, and be aware that there might be an entrance fee of around 10 Jordanian Dinars per person.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, you can take a taxi from Al-Maghtas to Qasr el Yahud. Taxis are readily available in the area, and the ride will take approximately 15 minutes, costing around 5 to 10 Jordanian Dinars. Make sure to confirm the fare before getting in. Alternatively, check if local buses are heading towards the Dead Sea area, as they may stop near Qasr el Yahud. Ensure to ask the driver if they can drop you off at your intended destination.
Walking
If you are within walking distance in Al-Maghtas, you can walk to Qasr el Yahud. The site is about 6 kilometers away from the center of Al-Maghtas. Follow the main road south and look for directional signs leading to Qasr el Yahud. It’s advisable to wear comfortable shoes and carry water, especially in warmer months.
