Getting There

Car
From Al-Maghtas, head northwest on the Dead Sea road (Route 65). Continue for about 30 km until you reach the junction for Route 1. Turn right onto Route 1 towards Jerusalem. After approximately 20 km, follow the signs for Jerusalem. Once you arrive in Jerusalem, follow the signs to the Old City. The Burnt House is located near the southern part of the Old City, close to the archaeological sites. You can use a GPS or map application to navigate directly to the location.

From Al-Maghtas, take a local bus to Madaba. Once in Madaba, transfer to a bus heading to Jerusalem. Buses to Jerusalem typically depart from the Madaba bus station. After arriving in Jerusalem, you can either walk to the Old City or take a taxi. If walking, head towards Jaffa Gate and enter the Old City. The Burnt House is located near the southern area of the Old City. Look for signs or ask locals for directions once you're in the area.
