If you are driving, head towards the Amman Citadel area. From any point in the Amman Plateau, navigate towards the main road leading to the Citadel, which is accessible via several routes. Use GPS coordinates: 31.955447, 35.934153 for precise navigation. Upon arriving at the vicinity of the Citadel, look for signs directing you to the Umayyad Palace. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
For public transportation, you can take a bus or taxi to the Amman Citadel area. Look for buses that route through downtown Amman, particularly those heading towards the Citadel. Once you arrive at the Citadel stop, you may need to walk about 10 minutes to reach the Umayyad Palace. Alternatively, consider taking a taxi directly to the Citadel for a more straightforward journey, which may cost around 2-5 JOD depending on your starting point.
Walking
