If you are in downtown Amman, start at Al-Hussein Mosque, a well-known landmark. From the mosque, head east on Al-Hashimi Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach Habiba Sweets, a famous local dessert shop. The Umayyad Reservoir is located just beside Habiba Sweets, marked by a distinctive entrance. You will see the reservoir on your left as you walk along Al-Hashimi Street.
Public Bus
To reach Umayyad Reservoir via public transportation, find the nearest bus stop serving the downtown area. Board a bus heading towards Al-Hashimi Street. Ask the driver to drop you off near Habiba Sweets. Once you get off, walk a short distance to the east, and you will see the Umayyad Reservoir adjacent to the sweet shop.
Taxi
If you prefer to take a taxi, simply tell the driver 'Umayyad Reservoir' or 'beside Habiba Sweets on Al-Hashimi Street.' The driver will take you directly to the location. It's a well-known place, so you shouldn't have any issues. Once you arrive, the reservoir will be right next to the sweet shop.
