If you are driving from the main entrance of the Azraq Wetland Reserve, take the road leading out of the reserve towards the north. Continue straight for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the junction with the main highway (Highway 30). Turn right onto Highway 30 and continue driving for about 5 kilometers until you see the signs for Umm al-Quttayn. Follow the signs, and after about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at قعيس, located at the coordinates 32.2844286, 36.6002829.
Public Transportation
To reach قعيس using public transportation, first take a bus or shared taxi from the main bus station in Azraq to Umm al-Quttayn. The fare is typically around 1-2 Jordanian Dinars. Once you arrive in Umm al-Quttayn, you can either walk or hire a local taxi for the last 2 kilometers to reach قعيس. Be sure to negotiate the fare with the taxi driver before starting the journey.
