5 Days and 4 Nights Tour in Jordan

Recommend!

Two friends and I booked an Egypt/Jordan trip through Platinum Holidays and we enjoyed Jordan immensely. So much so that we want to come back. The people in Jordan -at least the service industry- are so kind. Our driver Kamel was wonderful: always happy, willing to accommodate our special ‘side quests’ and he was so kind and patient. Plus he was a good/safe driver! As for the area, Kamel was knowledgeable, and we were with him a majority of the time, but he’s not a true guide. We had the option to pay for additional guides if we chose. We went on our own for the majority of the time, only using the included guides at Wadi Rum and Petra. The sites were wonderful, the castle was fun and generally we had no complaints. To that, the few dislikes from me were the 1) horse ride into Petra. The ride was included in our tour, and the men were very nice, until we stopped. Then they basically demanded a tip from us and they actually told us what we gave them wasn’t enough. They made us feel very uncomfortable. So beware! 2) one day in Petra wasn’t enough! I would’ve loved to stay longer; there’s a lot to see and 2-3 days would’ve been much more fun. 3) we stayed at a lovely Holiday Inn at the Dead Sea. Beautiful resort, however they were doing construction on the beach! It was a bit disappointing that a large portion of the area was closed off. But we made the most of it since it was a really windy -read waves!- that day. All in all, I really enjoyed the tour and recommend!

A beautiful and unforgettable day in Jordan

We had a wonderful day trip to the desert castles and the Dead Sea and were thrilled with the entire experience. It was a perfect combination of history, impressive scenery, and relaxation. The desert castles were very interesting and gave us a fascinating insight into the history and cultural heritage of Jordan. It was especially nice to discover different places while enjoying the impressive desert landscape. After visiting the historical sites, we continued to the Dead Sea, which was the perfect end to this varied day. Swimming and floating in the extremely salty water was a very special experience and definitely one of the highlights of our day. A very special thank you goes to our driver Omar. He was extremely friendly, professional, and reliable. The ride was very pleasant and safe, and we felt well taken care of throughout the entire day. Omar was also very helpful and attentive and always made an effort to ensure that we felt comfortable and could enjoy the day in peace. We especially appreciated his pleasant and relaxed manner. We never felt like we were under time pressure and were able to enjoy the trip in a completely relaxed way. Many thanks to Omar for this beautiful day and the excellent service! We would recommend this excursion at any time and would also love to travel with Omar again.
