Getting There

  • Car

    From Badia, take the main road heading west towards Amman. You will follow the Desert Highway (Highway 15) for approximately 60 kilometers. Once you reach the outskirts of Amman, look for signs directing you to Mount Nebo. You will turn onto the Hizam Al-Da'iri (the Ring Road) and continue for about 10 kilometers. The entrance to Monte Nebo will be on your left, marked by clear signage. There is a small parking area available. Be aware that there may be a small entrance fee to access the site.

    To reach Monte Nebo using public transportation from Badia, first take a bus or shared taxi to Amman. The main bus station in Amman is located at the Tabarbour area. Once you are in Amman, find a bus that travels towards Madaba, which typically stops near Mount Nebo. Inform the driver that you want to get off at Monte Nebo. The fare for the bus will be around 1-2 JOD. After disembarking, you can either walk or take a taxi for the 5-kilometer stretch to Monte Nebo, which should cost approximately 3-5 JOD.
