Car
From any location in Badia, drive towards Wadi Musa. The most common route is via the Desert Highway (Highway 15). Follow the signs for Petra. Once you reach Wadi Musa, look for signs directing you to the Petra Visitor Center. The Treasury is located within the Petra archaeological site, approximately 1.2 kilometers from the Visitor Center. Please note that you will need to pay an entrance fee to Petra, which is about 50 Jordanian Dinars (JOD) for a single day visit.
Public Transportation
Take a bus or shared taxi from your location in Badia to Wadi Musa. Buses and shared taxis frequently depart from major towns in Badia. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, head towards the Petra Visitor Center. The entrance to Petra, where The Treasury is located, is about a 30-minute walk from the Visitor Center. Be aware that there is an entrance fee of approximately 50 JOD required to access the site.
Walking
After entering through the Petra Visitor Center, you can walk to The Treasury. The path is well-marked and takes you through the Siq, a narrow gorge about 1.2 kilometers long which leads directly to The Treasury. This walk can take around 20-30 minutes, depending on your pace. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes, as the path can be uneven.
