Getting There

Walking
From the center of Salt, head south towards the main road (King Abdullah II Street). Continue walking straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with the Madaba highway (Route 35). Turn right onto the highway and walk for another 2 kilometers. You will see signs for Madaba. Once you reach the outskirts of Madaba, continue straight until you reach K. Talal Street. Turn left onto K. Talal Street and walk approximately 300 meters. The Madaba Archaeological Park will be on your right.

Public Bus
Locate the bus station in Salt which is near the city center. Take a bus heading to Madaba; these buses frequently run throughout the day. Once on the bus, inform the driver of your destination, Madaba Archaeological Park. The ride to Madaba should take about 30-40 minutes. When you arrive in Madaba, get off at the nearest stop to K. Talal Street, then walk east for about 300 meters until you reach the park entrance.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Salt to Madaba. Simply find a taxi in the city center or call for one. Inform the driver you want to go to K. Talal Street in Madaba.
