    Getting There

    Car

    From the Balqa Highlands, take the main road towards the south and follow signs for the Dead Sea. After approximately 30 km, you will reach the town of Shobak. Continue driving south until you see signs for Dana Biosphere Reserve. The reserve is located about 15 km from Shobak. Follow the signs to Dana, where you will find the entrance to the reserve. Note that there is an entrance fee of approximately 5 JOD per person.

    Public Transportation

    To reach Dana Biosphere Reserve using public transport, head to the nearest bus station in Balqa Highlands. Look for buses heading to Ma'an or Shobak. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you arrive in Shobak, you can hire a local taxi to take you to the entrance of Dana Biosphere Reserve, which is about 15 km away. The taxi fare should be around 10-15 JOD depending on negotiation.
