Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from Burial Mounds, head southeast towards the main road leading out of the area. Continue on this road until you reach the junction with the Airport Road (Route 40). Turn left onto Airport Road and follow it for about 10 km. Look for signs directing you to Amman city center. As you approach Amman, keep an eye out for signs for Zahran Street. Turn right onto Zahran Street, and then take a left onto Islamic College Street. The Intercontinental Amman will be on your right at Islamic College Street, Amman 11180. Ensure you have cash or a credit card for parking, which may incur a fee.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Intercontinental Amman via public transportation, start by finding a local bus or minibus that heads towards Amman city center from Burial Mounds. These buses are typically marked with their destination and will be frequent. Once you arrive in the city center, you may need to transfer to a taxi or use a ride-sharing app to reach the hotel. The taxi fare from the city center to the hotel should be around 2-3 JD (Jordanian Dinar). Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride. If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi directly from Burial Mounds to the hotel, which may cost approximately 10-15 JD depending on traffic.

• Combination (Bus + Taxi)

  Take a local bus from Burial Mounds to the nearest urban bus station that services routes to Amman. This bus ride will cost you around 0.5 JD. After arriving in Amman, you can take a taxi from the bus station to Intercontinental Amman. The taxi fare should be about 3-5 JD. Be sure to have small change available for the bus fare.
