Getting There

Car
If you are driving to Dana Trail, start from the main entrance of the Dana Biosphere Reserve. Head southeast on the main road through the reserve. Follow the signs towards the Dana Village. As you approach the village, keep an eye out for local signage directing you to the Dana Trail. The trailhead is located just outside of the village, approximately 3 km from the center of Dana Village. There is no entry fee for the trail itself, but parking may incur a small fee depending on the area you choose to park in.

For those using public transportation, take a bus or shared taxi from Amman to Ma'an. Upon arrival at Ma'an, look for a local bus or shared taxi that heads to Dana Village. The ride from Ma'an to Dana Village will take about 30-45 minutes. Once you arrive at Dana Village, you can either walk to the trailhead, which is about a 30-minute walk, or you may be able to find a local taxi to take you closer to the trailhead. Ensure to ask the driver to drop you off at the Dana Trail entrance. There will be a small fare for the taxi or shared taxi services.
