Car
From Dana Village, take the road towards the main highway (Route 15). Once on Route 15, follow the signs for Wadi Musa. It will take approximately 30 minutes to reach Wadi Musa. Upon arrival in Wadi Musa, look for signs directing you to The Treasury, which is part of the Petra archaeological site. There is a parking area available near the entrance to Petra, where you will need to pay for parking, typically around 5 JOD for the day.
Public Transportation
Start at the main bus station in Dana Village. Look for buses heading to Wadi Musa. The journey will take about 1 to 1.5 hours, and the fare is usually around 3 to 5 JOD. Once you arrive in Wadi Musa, you will need to walk to the entrance of Petra to access The Treasury. The entrance is approximately 1.5 km from the bus stop, so be prepared for a short walk. Alternatively, you may find local taxis at the bus station that can take you directly to the Petra entrance for a small additional fee.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hire a taxi from Dana Village to Wadi Musa. This option is more expensive, typically around 25 to 30 JOD for the journey, which lasts about 30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off at the Petra entrance, where you can purchase tickets to enter the archaeological site and visit The Treasury.
