Getting There

Walking
From the center of Dana, head south on the main path towards the Dana Biosphere Reserve entrance. Continue on this path for about 20 minutes until you reach the viewpoint overlooking the valley. From here, take the trail that leads towards Gawr as-Safi, which will take you through scenic landscapes. Follow the signs for Lot's Cave, which is located near the coordinates 31.0468275, 35.5027593. The cave entrance is marked and should be visible from the trail.

Hiking
If you enjoy hiking, you can take the longer scenic route. Start from the Dana Village and follow the marked hiking trails. Head towards the Dana Nature Reserve and take the trail that descends towards the Wadi Dana. This will take approximately 1 hour. Once in the valley, look for signs that direct you towards Lot's Cave, which is about a 30-minute hike from the valley floor. Ensure you have proper hiking shoes and plenty of water.

You can also hire a local guide from Dana village. They are knowledgeable about the area and can take you directly to Lot's Cave while sharing insights about the local history and ecology.
