Getting There

Walking
From the Dana Village Center, head southeast on the main path towards the Dana Nature Reserve entrance. Follow the signs to Wadi Musa. This will take you through some beautiful landscapes. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction with the road. Turn left at the junction and follow the road straight until you reach the Wadi Musa area. The Nabatean Theatre is located approximately 2 kilometers down this road on your right.

If you are at the Dana Guesthouse, exit the guesthouse and turn left. Walk straight along the main road towards the Wadi Musa area. As you approach Wadi Musa, keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the Nabatean Theatre. The journey is about 2.5 kilometers, and you will see the theatre as you enter the town.

From the Dana Biosphere Reserve visitor center, take the path leading down towards the valley. Follow the signs for Wadi Musa. Once you reach the main road, turn right and continue walking straight for approximately 3 kilometers. The Nabatean Theatre will be on your left side, just before the main entrance to Petra.

If you prefer public transport, you can take a local bus from the Dana Village to Wadi Musa. The bus departs from the main square in Dana. Ask the driver to drop you off at the Wadi Musa bus station. From there, walk towards the Nabatean Theatre, which is about a 15-minute walk straight ahead on the main road.
