From Dana Village, start at the main square where you can find the local shops and cafes. Head southeast on the main pathway and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Dana Biosphere Reserve's entrance. Here, you will see signs for Shobak Castle. Follow the signs and keep walking along the path that leads out of the reserve. After approximately 3 kilometers, you'll come to a junction. Take a left at the junction, and continue straight for another 2 kilometers until you see the castle in the distance.

From Dana Village, walk to the nearest bus stop located near the main square. Catch a bus heading towards Shobak. The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Shobak Castle stop. Once you get off, follow the signs directing you to Shobak Castle which is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Make sure to ask the bus driver to confirm you are on the right route.
