Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Dana Village, head southwest towards the Dana Biosphere Reserve entrance. Follow the main path that leads you through the village. After about 10-15 minutes of walking, you will reach the reserve entrance. Continue walking along the marked trails within the reserve, following signs toward Al Lahun. The trail is well-maintained and offers scenic views of the surrounding landscape and wildlife. Keep on the main path for approximately 1.5 to 2 hours, enjoying the natural beauty around you. Eventually, you will see a sign pointing towards Al Lahun, which is slightly off the main path. Follow this sign for a short detour of about 15 minutes uphill, and you will arrive at Al Lahun.

  Consider joining a guided tour offered by local companies in Dana. These tours typically depart from the Dana Village and include transportation to Al Lahun by foot or on horseback. Gather at the designated meeting point in the village, where you can book your spot. The ride will take approximately 1-2 hours, depending on your pace and the chosen trail. Be sure to bring water and sun protection, as some parts of the trail may be exposed.
